As part of her "Put People (and Pets) in Your Paintings" series, Maureen Butler will be teaching a 2-part workshop beginning this coming Tuesday, August 27th at 1 PM. (This was originally scheduled for Thursday Aug 22 but had to be re-scheduled for Tuesdays!) Second part on the following Tuesday.
Don’t be afraid of painting people any more! We’ll show you how to create a pattern to reproduce (for study purposes) the Jack Vettriano painting shown above titled “Sweet Bird of Youth”.
This class is open to oil and acrylics and is for advanced beginners and intermediate skill levels. In this "follow along step-by-step" style workshop you’ll learn how to work with a limited palette, how to mix skin tones, paint reflections and more. Workshop fee is $25 and includes an 11x14 canvas board. See you there!
