Put People in Your Paintings #2
Summer Workshop ~ Aug 22ndDon’t be afraid of painting people any more! We’ll show you a foolproof way to include people in your paintings. Follow along, step by step, as we paint this girl carrying her red-striped beach chair. This is a reproduction of a classic painting by the famous Scottish artist Jack Vettriano titled “Sweet Bird of Youth”.
This very simple and delicate study was first shown in 1995. The title is taken from a song by Leonard Cohen, who is one of Vettriano’s favorite singers.
