Wine and Dinner on the bridge event deemed successful

Nearly 90 people enjoyed the first-ever Wine & Dinner on the historic Horse Creek Covered Bridge in Millsite Park Saturday evening, August 20th.
Pyrenees Vineyard & Cellars and Vadai Quality Wine Cellars provided wine for tasting and for purchase. The Tri City Slickers Jazz Band provided entertainment and volunteers from the South Umpqua  High School National Honor Society helped serve the 3 course meal. Door prizes were given and an auction raised over $600. 
Steve & Carol Hall, owners of Hall's Mercantile & Ace Hardware in Myrtle Creek were the organizers for this community fundraiser for four local non-profit organizations. The Main Street Myrtle Creek Association, Myrtle Creek Elks Lodge #1943 and Myrtle Creek ~ Tri City Area Chamber of Commerce will each receive the money raised.

A Magical Evening in Myrtle Creek

Come enjoy Wine & Dinner on the Horse Creek Covered Bridge in Myrtle Creek on Saturday August 20th, 2011.
Wine tasting from 6 pm - 7 pm. Featuring Pyrenees Vineyard & Cellars and Vadai Barrels. Bring your favorite wine glass or purchase one on site for only $1.

Dinner and entertainment from 7 pm - 9 pm prepared by local restaurants. Dinner will be salad by SoCo Coffee Company, Chicken Cordon Bleu by Jeff Messner. Garlic mashed potatoes and veggies by Goodfella's. Dessert will be a surprise from the Painted Lady Bed & Breakfast & Tea Room. Coffee and Pepsi products by SoCo Coffee company.

Tickets are $30 each. Limited number available! Tickets my be purchased at Ye Olde Art Shoppe, Ace Hardware, Myrtle Creek and Umpqua Bank, Myrtle Creek.
