The Patriotic Rooster

For those of you that bought tickets for the Patriotic Rooster drawing, thank you very much for your support. The money raised is going to buy supplies for the kids art class this summer. We have three kids and they are having a good time. The class goes until August 23rd.

The winner of the drawing is Ted Romas. He is very supportive of community events and is currently the President of the Myrtle Creek~Tri City Area Chamber of Commerce. Congratulations Ted!

Myrtle Creek Summer Festival

Myrtle Creek will be invaded by thousands of festival goers next week for the annual event. Starting Thursday, July 28th through Saturday July 30th, Millsite Park will be the hot spot in town. There will be musical entertainment on stage every evening and plenty of craft booths to keep you shopping and enjoying the outside. Stop and check out the variety of food vendors that will be cooking up a storm to entice you to their booths. Stick around for the BEST fireworks display in Douglas County Saturday night.
