Winter Classes Schedule

If you have looked at the UCC Winter Class Schedules, THEY ARE INCORRECT! They have listed the Best of Oils & Acrylics class as having later hours and no afternoon class. THAT IS NOT THE CASE!

The schedule has not changed. Classes will start the week of January 9th. Please go to Classes page for the correct schedule and prices.

Please register early to ensure your place in the class!

Halloween in Myrtle Creek!

Gravesly, the official "greeter", invites you to join us downtown for a "safe corridor" Halloween bash Monday, October 31st.

This year over 20 downtown businesses including Ye Olde Art Shoppe will stay open a little later than usual for "trick or treat". Thanks to WinCo Foods, Ray's Food Place and Shop Smart, lots of candy was donated to Chamber of Commerce member businesses to hand out.

"Halloween Headquarters" will be at the Computer Solutions (old Rio theater) thanks to owner Donald Barrows. That's where we'll take photos for the costume contest, with cash or Diary Queen gift certificates for winners in 3 age groups. Many other activities are also planned, as follows:

Last year, for the first time, we added a petting zoo. It was so well received that a Place of Hope at Ash Creek Ranch is bringing it back again. The Myrtle Creek Lions will set up their "bounce house" (weather permitting) and the Myrtle Creek Elks Lodge will offer kids games and a ticket for a hot dog and soda for $1 or a can of food. New this year is "Trick or Trunk" and a showing of the movie "Despicable Me" at the Family Fellowship Church, on 2nd Ave just beyond City Hall. It's all fun and FREE!
